Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of internet connectivity services and related websites and portals provided by WiFi Guru ("we", "us", "our"). By subscribing to, paying for or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
We provide wireless internet services in Kenya, including home internet plans and public WiFi access. Service descriptions, speeds and prices are shown on our website and may be updated from time to time. Advertised speeds are "up to" speeds and actual performance can vary with network conditions, device capability, location and other factors.
3. Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when signing up, and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials and WiFi passwords confidential. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
4. Payments and Billing
- Our plans are prepaid unless otherwise stated. Service is activated or renewed once payment is confirmed (e.g. via M-PESA).
- Prices are stated in Kenyan Shillings and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated.
- If a subscription is not renewed by its expiry, service may be suspended until payment is made.
- Payments for time-based plans are generally non-refundable once the service period has started, except where required by law or expressly stated by us.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Break any law, or infringe the rights of others.
- Send spam, distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to networks or systems.
- Interfere with the operation of our network or degrade service for other users.
- Resell, share or redistribute the service outside your household or premises without our written consent.
We may apply fair usage management to keep the network fast and reliable for everyone, and we may suspend or terminate service for breach of this section.
6. Equipment and Installation
Routers or other equipment we supply remain our property unless you have purchased them outright. You agree to take reasonable care of our equipment and to return it in good condition if your service is terminated. You are responsible for loss of or damage to our equipment beyond normal wear and tear. Installation timelines are estimates and may depend on site conditions.
7. Service Availability and Support
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free connectivity. Outages may occur due to maintenance, power failures, weather or events beyond our control. We will work to restore service promptly and you can reach our support team via phone, WhatsApp or web chat.
8. Suspension and Termination
You may cancel your service at any time; prepaid periods already started are not refunded except as required by law. We may suspend or terminate your service if you breach these Terms, misuse the network, or where required by law or a regulator. Where practical, we will give you notice first.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits, data or business) arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Kenyan law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
10. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts. For any questions about these Terms:
